December 6th was our dear teacher Walter Levin's 85th Birthday! Celebration concerts were held in Berlin with some of his former students. To play a concert at the Berlin Philarmonie dedicated to him was really special for us. Check below the text we wrote for him at the celebration program.

The Cuarteto Quiroga performed in Paris (Les Invalides) and in Fontaiebleau's Castle with great success of audience and critics. The program included works by Haydn, Berg and Beethoven. Check the complete critique of LeMonde clicking here.

The concerts of the Cuarteto Quiroga in the Heidelberger Frühling were praised by audiences and critics. The Quiroga performed works by Haydn, Mendelssohn, Sollima, Arriaga, Respighi with countertenor Jake Arditti and collaborated with Professor Valentin Erben (Alban Berg Quartett) in his lecture on Schubert's writing and reading. The Cuarteto Quiroga has recently joined the faculty of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Aragón, in Zaragoza, Spain, holding the Chair of String Quartet at the Chamber Music Department. Visit the Conservatory's webpage at www.csma.es.
